Conference venue
All conference events will take place within the building of the MU Language Centre. The venue is located in central Brno, adjacent to its historical core. You will find a map of Brno in your conference pack.

How to get to Brno
By Plane
There is a small airport in Brno and four international airports close to the city - in Prague, Vienna, Bratislava and Budapest, the closest one is in Vienna.

By Train
If you decide to take a train, it will drop you off at Brno, Hlavní nádraží (Brno main train station), a five-minute walk from the historical centre. You can also use the public transport: tram no. 4 will take you to the conference venue (5 minutes from the main station).

Vienna — Brno by Train
The airport railway station in front of the arrivals hall offers trains that will take you to the Wien Hauptbahnhof (Vienna main train station), where you change for trains to Brno. You can ask for information and buy tickets to Brno also at the Vienna airport.
Prague — Brno by Train
Trains to Brno leave from Praha Hlavní nádraží (Prague main railway station). To get there, you can use public transport buses: buses no. 119 and 100 stop right in front of the terminals and take you to Prague underground. The tickets for public transport can be bought via SMS or at the vending machine at the airport (32 CZK ticket is valid for 90 minutes for any combination of public transport). There are two companies that operate on the Prague–Brno line:
České dráhy (Czech Railways) - you can buy tickets online or at the railway station. (It also offers airport transfer: bus + train combined ticket, Airport Express).
RegioJet – you can buy tickets online or at the railway station. (It also offers airport transfer: Airport transfer).
Bratislava — Brno by Train
You can take public transport bus to Bratislava Hlavná stanica (Bratislava main train station), the bus station is next to it. Then you can continue with RegioJet or České dráhy.
By Bus
If you come by bus, RegioJet, Flixbus and Eurolines companies will drop you off at the Hotel Grand Coach Station, which is situated next to the Brno main train station. Other buses will drop you off at Zvonařka Coach Station, approximately 15 minutes from the historical centre.

Vienna — Brno by Bus
RegioJet, Flixbus – direct buses from the Vienna Schwechat Airport stop at the Grand Hotel Coach Station in Brno.
LEO Express – direct buses from the Vienna Schwechat Airport stop at the Zvonařka Coach Station in Brno.
Other companies operate from diverse bus and coach stations in Vienna.
Prague — Brno by Bus
Buses to Brno leave from The Florenc Coach Station (the Prague´s main coach station). To get there, you can use public transport buses: buses no. 119 and 100 stop right in front of the terminals and take you to Prague underground. The tickets for public transport can be bought via SMS or at the vending machine at the airport (32 CZK ticket is valid for 90 minutes for any combination of public transport).
Flixbus, Eurolines and other companies operate from Florenc.
RegioJet – the „yellow bus“, leaving from Vaclav Havel Airport, will take you to Brno also with a change at Florenc.
You can buy tickets online or at the ticket office at Terminal 1. We recommend buying the ticket online in advance, as you can cancel or change your ticket up to 15 minutes before departure of your bus.
Bratislava — Brno by Bus
You can take public transport bus to Bratislava Hlavná stanica (Bratislava main train station), the bus station is next to it. Then you can continue with RegioJet, Flixbus, Eurolines or other companies.
